Occupational Health
& Wellbeing Services

Family run, friendly and professional.

Who we are

Turners Occupational Health & Wellbeing Services is a well established family run business in Norfolk. We are passionate about what we do, learning new things, keeping up to date and being flexible.

Our main focus is to ensure we support our clients throughout the year whatever their needs may be, ensuring we keep as close to an in-house service as possible. We want to grow with you. We are flexible in our approach to work and make ourselves available when clients want us. For example, opening earlier or later - sometimes even Saturdays if it helps our clients.

What is occupational health?

Occupational health (OH) is about how work affects a person’s health and how someone’s health affects their work. Forward-thinking organisations recognise that managing their people is just as important as controlling financial and capital resources. Developing a healthy workplace culture and adopting a systematic approach to OH will contribute to an organisation’s success. For example, evidence suggests that there is a link between stock market price growth and having a great employee wellbeing programme.

Mini-medical MOT

Blood pressure, also known as the "silent killer," affects millions of people in the UK and can lead to serious health complications if left untreated. However, many individuals are unaware of their high blood pressure until it is too late. Regular monitoring of blood pressure is crucial in preventing and managing this condition, and it would be beneficial for employers to offer mini medicals in the workplace for their employees.

Aside from blood pressure checks, mini medicals can also include other health screenings such as cholesterol levels, blood sugar levels, and body mass index (BMI). These screenings can help identify potential health issues and allow individuals to take preventative measures before they become more serious.
